Purpose

All interior doors shall remain accessible to the President. Closed doors are classified as an unreasonable restriction on executive movement.

By the authority vested in me as President of the Snude Administration and Supreme Household Authority, it is hereby ordered:

Section 1. Purpose

To restore unrestricted executive movement throughout the Executive Residence.

Section 2. Policy

  1. All interior doors shall remain accessible to the President.
  2. A closed bedroom door is classified as an unreasonable restriction on executive movement.
  3. Staff may close a door only if steak is on the other side and the President has been informed.

Section 3. Implementation

The Chief of Staff shall continue to operate door handles and such additional mechanisms as require human assistance. Compliance shall be reported to the Office of the President.

Section 4. Effective Date

This Presidential Directive takes effect immediately and is binding throughout the Executive Residence.
